Henrietta Township
Henrietta Township was Organized from Brownhelm Township in 1827.The family that is honored as the first settlers is Simeon Durand. At age 16 he came to America with LaFayette and was the general’s interpreter and settled in Essex New York until 1817 when he his wife and two children came to Henrietta.
