Lorain County is one of the leaders in Ohio in the production of ornamental plants generating 76,571,000 in sales. Lorain County is ranked 36th in the U.S. out of 2,601 counties. 

The value of the crop sales in Lorain County was over 116 million dollars. Livestock, poultry, and products sales were over 17 million dollars.
