There are several public library systems and independent libraries in Lorain County. The largest may be the Little Free Library in the header followed by the Elyria Public System and  Lorain County Public Library System both of which are part of Clevnet a consortium of over 47 northern Ohio libraries across 12 different counties. Herrick Memorial Library in the Village of Wellington, Oberlin Public Library in the City of Oberlin, Amherst Public Library, and Ritter Public Library are independent libraries.
