Of all the individuals that I have photographed over the years, firefighters are at the top of the list of those that admire. 

I became an EMT when they first opened up the program at Cuyahoga Community College. It was taught by a Lorain Fireman. I covered the volunteer and city fire departments around East Liverpool Ohio for the Evening Review and rented a room off one of the firemen. And produced a video for the Ohio Prison of first responders in terrorist training exercise in Grafton, Ohio. 

Fire departments constantly train to provide service to others.
